SportsLODGE AM830 ESPN ZONE FIRST ANNUALTOY DRIVE

In November AM830 and ESPN Zone at Downtown Disney in Anaheim invited AM830 listeners to help us in our efforts to collect toys for children's charities throughout Orange County.
This was the first Toy Drive of what we hope will become an annual Holiday Season tradition.
We kicked off the Toy Drive on November 20th on the field at Angel Stadium. Roger Lodge broadcast the SportsLODGE show live on AM830 and KTLA from the field. Everyone donating a toy got five swings at the plate. Everyone was invited onto the field to play catch and shag fly balls.
Thank you, everyone, who brought toys.
After the Angel Stadium event, people continued to drop off unwrapped toys to ESPN Zone Downtown Disney in Anaheim and they received a ten dollar Arena Game Card to the ESPN Zone Game Room.
On December 20th, the SportsLODGE show was broadcast live from ESPNZone where the gifts were presented to the children. All of the participants enjoyed the happy day, especially the visit from Santa.
